1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for accommodation and equestrian activities with The Pinewood Ranch, Gårdveda Motorpet, Sweden. Our services are provided on a seasonal basis. Specific operating dates are published on our website.

2. Conclusion of Contract & No Right of Withdrawal

A booking request sent via our website is a non-binding request by the guest. The contract is finalized only upon written confirmation by The Pinewood Ranch. Note: According to the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for accommodation or leisure activities provided on a specific date. Once confirmed by us, the booking is binding.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are final.

• Accommodation: The total price for the stay must be paid in full in advance to finalize the booking.

• Activities: Equestrian activities are optional services and are not part of the initial accommodation contract. They are booked separately on-site. Payment for activities is made exclusively on-site in cash or via Swish or Card.

4. Participation Requirements & Safety

For the safety of both humans and horses, the following requirements apply:

• Maximum Weight: 90 kg (approx. 198 lbs) for all horse-related activities.

• Safety Gear: Wearing a certified riding helmet is mandatory for all riders.

• Age Limits: Minimum ages apply to specific tours. Detailed limits are listed on our website.

• Instructions: Staff instructions regarding horse handling must be followed at all times.

5. Cancellation Policy

We schedule accommodation, staff, and animals exclusively for our guests. If you wish to cancel, the following fees apply:

• For Accommodation:

  • Cancellation at least 14 days before check-in: Full refund.

  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before check-in: 50% refund.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in: Non-refundable (100% fee applies).

• For Activities:

  • Cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled activity: Free of charge.

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the activity: 50% of the price.

  • No-Show (failure to arrive without notice): 80% of the price.

Refunds will be processed exclusively to the bank account from which the original payment was received.​

The guest reserves the right to prove that the actual damage incurred by the provider was lower than the fee charged.

6. Cancellation by Provider (Weather & Safety)

We reserve the right to cancel activities or end the season early due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or animal welfare. In such cases, a full refund for the affected service or an alternative date will be offered. The Pinewood Ranch is not responsible for, and cannot reimburse, any costs related to external travel, third-party hotel bookings, or other personal travel arrangements.

7. Liability

Participation in all ranch activities is at the guest's own risk. The provider is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, or in cases of injury to life, body, or health, in accordance with Swedish law.

8. Conduct

Misconduct or failure to follow safety instructions may lead to exclusion from activities without a refund. Parents are responsible for their children's conduct and safety at all times.

9. Governing Law

Swedish law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s registered location.
